This UNESCO world heritage site hold 185 million years of geological history. As well as iconic landmarks such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Lyme Regis. We’ll show you the best of the Dorset Coast as well as some superb hidden gems.
On route you can expect stunning views, charming inland villages of thatched cottages and beautiful churches, incredible overnight accommodation and wonderful food including seafood if you enjoy it. If not there are plenty of options.

Included:- Meet, welcome and pick up from Axminster Train Station or arrive by chauffeured car to Dorset where you will meet your guide. Two days private guided tour with a warm, friendly and knowledgeable local guide, two delicious breakfasts, two pub lunches with a drink, morning coffee on day one, accommodation for two nights in rooms to suit you.
Not included: – Dinner and evening drinks on both nights of your stay. These are at your discretion.

Pick up
Suggest 11.04 am pick up from Axminster Train Station. A 2 hour 42 direct train from London Waterloo.
Alternatively we can arrange your own chauffeured car from London or elsewhere for an additional price.
Return
By taxi to Wareham Train Station.
Alternatively we can arrange a chauffeured car to return you to London or your accommodation.
Refreshments
Your tour includes morning coffee on day one, a pub lunch with drink each day and breakfast on two days.

This tour is available to book mid week, Sunday through to Thursday.

Itinerary
We will provide a more detailed itinerary upon enquiry and tours can be custom made. We hope this will guide you.
Day One
11.04 am Meet and welcome at Axminster Train Station. Alternatively your chauffeured car will drive you from your start point to the Dorset Coast where you will meet your guide.
11.30 am Optional coffee stop to refresh, and meet your guide
12.45 pm Arrive Lyme Regis following a scenic drive with green fields, superb views and rural Dorset countryside. You’ll see a truly authentic side of Dorset.
1.30 / 1.45 pm Lunch at a pub
2.45 pm Leave Lyme Regis
3.05 pm Optional stroll out to Golden Cap. The South Coast’s highest sea cliff from which there are spectacular views. Alternatively explore nearby Dorset villages with their stunning thatched cottages and art galleries and visit the beach.
Approximately 5 pm Arrive at your charming overnight accommodation. One of Alison and David’s favourite coastal hotels.
Day Two
Wake and enjoy a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a stroll on the beach.
9.30 am Your driver guide will meet you at your hotel.
Explore a stunning Dorset valley with beautiful Dorset villages including Abbotsbury. There will be plenty of opportunities to pause and take in the magnificent views and to stroll if you wish. Your guide will outline your options.
12.45 pm Arrive at a pub for lunch
1.45 pm Stroll to Lulworth cove if you wish or may to decide to explore Durdle Door
5 pm Arrive to your stunning overnight accommodation in Studland following a scenic drive
Day Three
Wake to a leisurely breakfast and perhaps enjoy a stroll.
Depart at your leisure.
